Frontline Plus provides effective treatment and prevention of flea infestation for your dogs and cats. It also controls all four major ticks that transmit tick-borne disease such as Lyme disease on dogs and puppies.
Frontline Plus contains two active ingredients that provide integrated flea control by breaking the flea life cycle. One ingredient (fipronil) kills the adult fleas on your pet and the other (s-methoprene) kills flea eggs and stops larval and pupal development. Frontline Plus is water fast so bathing, shampooing, swimming or exposure to sunlight will not reduce its efficacy. Frontline Plus is safe to use on puppies and kittens over 8 weeks of age.
Application:
Break the snap-off top from the pipette. Choose an area where licking cannot occur e.g. on the back of the neck. Part the coat until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze several times to empty its contents directly on to the skin. After application, the product will spread over the coat of your pet within 24 hours. It is recommended not to bath or shampoo your pet during 48 hours after application. Frontline Plus is safe to use on puppies and kittens over 8 weeks of age. For dogs over 132 lbs (60kg), Pipettes of different volumes may be combined to provide a suitable dose.
Safety in Pets
Frontline Plus has a significant safety margin for use in dogs and cats over 8 weeks of age. It is safe to use on breeding, pregnant or lactating pets. Licking shortly after application may cause hyper-salivation due to the taste of the vehicle.
Pets may experience temporary irritation at the site of application. If signs persist, please consult your local veterinarian.
Do not use Frontline Plus if you or your pet have a know hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol.
Storage:
Store at room temperature, keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Expiry Date:
Minimum 18 months.
First Aid:
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If product enters eyes, wash it out immediately with water. If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Center immediately.
